π A Thought from My Personal Meditation
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As I was reading Exodus 1 during my personal Bible meditation today, these two verses caught my attention: Exodus 1:7 and Exodus 1:12.
I noticed a beautiful pattern in God’s Word. Even though Pharaoh oppressed the Israelites, the Bible says:
βThe more the Egyptians oppressed them, the more the Israelites multiplied and spread.β
Exodus 1:12
As I reflected on this, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the Book of Acts.
- In Acts 8:1, 4, persecution scattered the believers, but wherever they went, they preached the gospel.
- In Acts 9:31, the church grew in strength and numbers.
- In Acts 12:24, after severe persecution, βthe word of God continued to spread, and there were many new believers.β
- In Acts 13:49 and Acts 16:5, we again see the Word of God spreading and the churches growing stronger despite opposition.
It is wonderful to see this consistent pattern throughout Scripture: the more God’s people were opposed, the more God caused His work to increase.
Have a blessed day!
God bless you!
